    • Program review / The consortia comprised by US and Georgian Higher Education Institutions will deliver high-quality, accredited bachelor degrees in Georgia. Graduates of these programs will obtain American degrees/Diplomas in STEM fields in Georgia.
      The project implemented through Georgia’s second MCC compact aims to address the quality of human capital in Georgia, including a package of investments in the delivery of high-quality higher education programs in priority STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. $140 million compact, includes an investment of $30 million in higher education to support the establishment of a partnership between U.S. and Georgian public universities with the contribution from the Government of Georgia. The compact seeks to improve the quality of education in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and increase the earning potential of Georgians through strategic investments from the start of a student’s general education to graduation from technical training and advanced degree programs.

    • Program review / The improvement of higher education system is one of the key challenges for Georgia's democratic development. More open, democratic, and inclusive higher education system will encourage in young citizens of Georgia a greater appreciation for diversity and critical thinking skills. Over the year 2014-2016 the OSGF's efforts will be directed towards addressing key challenges of higher education in Georgia, increasing public awareness of higher education reform and improving public participation in reform-related processes. In addition to the experienced CSOs, the OSGF will give support to established student groups oriented towards positive change of the education system.
