Public Defender of Georgia met with Prime Minister of Georgia
Tbilisi. On
October 29, the Public Defender of Georgia Ucha Nanuashvili met with
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili in the Chancellery of the
Government.
Issues
discussed at the meeting included human rights and freedoms situation in
the country, current political and public developments. They talked
about necessity of elaboration of control mechanism of acquiring
information through wiretapping; need to improve policies aimed at
elimination of increased facts of femicide; issue of establishment of an
independent investigation mechanism.
