Samtxkhe-Javakheti. A two day seminar was conducted for Georgian media representatives in Borjomi. “The seminar was attended by 20 journalists. Participants reviewed the gender statistics and indicators produced and disseminated by Geostat. They also discussed how to use such tools in practice. According to information released by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI), the Parliament of Georgia has approved the Open Parliament Georgia Action Plan for 2021-2022. The organization notes that the vast majority of commitments stipulated by the Action Plan are the result of a civil society initiative. "The Open Parliament Action Plan consists of 19 commitments, implementation of which is planned within 2021-2022 years. Monitoring of social media, carried out by International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy, reveals that there are pages on Facebook, which operate in support of the Government of Georgia and the ruling party and undertake the Government function of public relations anonymously. “On such pages, along with information about projects implemented, ongoing or planned by the Government, activities and statements of the ruling party and its representatives, as well as positive opinions expressed by other people about them are also published. At the same time, some of them run a political campaign against other parties. Tbilisi. “Media Advocacy Coalition” expresses its concern in regard to a statement of the Prime Minister discrediting “Mtavari Channel”, “TV Pirveli” and “Formula”, as well as threatening Nika Gvaramia. “At the July 17 public event with the participation of Garibashvili, there were invited only some representatives of the media. According to the explanation of the press service of the Prime Minister, “the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili considers that “Mtavari Channel”, “TV Pirveli” and “Formula” have crossed all red lines, they represent a specific political party, are funded and directly controlled by Mikheil Saakashvili and his radical forces, as well as involved in a political campaign against the Prime Minister”. Respectively, this is the reason, for which mentioned TV companies were not invited to the event. It also became known that members of the violent group threaten Nika Gvaramia with deprivation of his life for blocking the Alt-Info Facebook channel. “We call on the Prime Minister of Georgia to stop discrediting the media within the framework of high public responsibility. Social Justice Center presents a study related to the history of the Namakhvani HPP project. “This document contains a summary of information regarding all defective and unlawful decisions identified during the process of planning and construction of Namakhvani HPP.
