Young Constitutionalists Comment on the President's Decision
Tbilisi. The "Georgian Young Constitutionalists’
Association” has reacted to discussion over a sitting of the Security Council
scheduled by the President on October 28. "The President is authorized to
manage the activities of the National Security Council, which means that the
very President determines the need to convene the Security Council.
Nevertheless, by taking concrete facts into consideration, doubts arise that
the President uses his powers for personal purposes and does not act in the interests
of the state”, says the statement released by the organization.
