Round Table – “Early Marriage, Causes and Consequences”
Tbilisi. A conference hall of the Human Rights
House has hosted on October 31 a round table on "Early marriage, causes
and consequences".
Representatives
of the Ministry of Education and Science, parliamentary Health Committee,
Public Defender's office, German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)
and CSOs have attended the round table.
Representatives
of the Ministry and the Public Defender's office have delivered presentations
on the subject.
Round
table participants have discussed the following topics: early marriage,
reproductive rights of a minor, domestic violence.
