Meeting with the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine and the Delegation of Ukraine
Tbilisi. On November 18, 2014, the Public
Defender held a press conference together with the Parliamentary
Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine Valeria Lutkovska and members
of the delegation of Ukrainian Government and Parliament. At the conference the Public Defender
spoke about deepening the relations with the Ukrainian Ombudsman. He
noted that the visit of the Ukrainian colleagues, especially against the
background of the difficult political situation in the Ukraine, shows a
great aspiration of close cooperation between the institutions of two

Valeria Lutkovska spoke about Georgia’s experience and the memorandum
for approximation of cooperation in human rights sphere that was signed
in March of the current year.
