Discussion on the Role of Civil Society in the Process of Political Transformation
Tbilisi. At the initiative of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, the discussion was held on November 2 on the "Role of the civil society in the process of political transformation". Deputy Minister for Reintegration Issues Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, research assistant of the Berlin Literature and Cultural Center, professor Zaal Andronikashvili, professor of the Ilia University and journalist Davit Paichadze and the Vice-President of the Guria Youth Resource Center Tamar Ghlonti have participated in the discussion. The participants have discussed issues such as the increased importance of the civil society in the process of political changes, relations between CSOs and the authorities, etc.The event was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of activities of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, as the local organization. The audience was also involved in the discussion by asking the questions and expressing the opinions.
