Tbilisi. The Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center has released Sopo Verdzeuli's blog post - "Political neutrality of the Prosecutor's Office". "In the current system the Prosecutor's Office is an organic part of the Government and thus is vulnerable to political impacts. Today, the Government is both the author and implementing party of the criminal justice policy, owing to which special power accumulates within the Government", the blog post states.
