Project for the Blind and Shortsighted in the Tbilisi School #202
Tbilisi. The project "Public Garden for Developing Orientation in Space for
the Blind and Shortsighted" is being implemented in the Tbilisi school
#202 of the blind and shortsighted children. At this stage, the training for
the school teachers is underway as part of the project in the exploitation of
the public garden and use of the tactile maps. The training is led by the
Polish typhlo-specialist Marek Jakubovski.The
project, which will be completed in 2013, is implemented by NGO "Let's be
Friends" with funding from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
