Samtskhe-Javakheti. On November 8, the
association "Tolerant" has informed the public about the initial
results of the project "Promoting Resocialization of Young Probationers in
Samtskhe-Javakheti"."Tolerant"
implements the project since January of this year with funding from the EU, and
it aims to re-socialize young probationers in the society and assist them.The project director, chair of the association
"Tolerant" TsiraMeskhishvili and the project staff have talked to the
guests about the project.According to TsiraMeskhishvili, within the
project framework, 60 out of 460 registered probationers in Samtskhe-Javakheti
have undertaken training courses in various institutions. At the end of the
meeting, "Tolerant" has awarded a photo camera to the active
volunteer students of the public school #5, who have assisted the organization.
The multi-ethnic resource center for the development of civic education is the
partner of the project, while the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance
of Georgia is the associated partner.
