GYLA Submits a Report in UN on Facts of Human Rights Violations of Georgian Citizens by Russia
Tbilisi. On 16 March 2015 the UN Human Rights Committee will examine the report by the Russian Federation. GYLA and the National Institute of Human Rights, in partnership with the Human Rights Priority, have submitted a parallel report with the Committee. The report describes violations of rights of Georgian citizens due to the August 2008 war, after the war, and erection of barbed-wire defenses.
