The State Purchased Vehicles Worth 147 Million GEL in 2013-2015
Tbilisi. Transparency International – Georgia has released a new blog "The state purchased vehicles worth 147 million GEL in 2013-2015". With this blog it has echoed the Governmental statement of February 23, pursuant to which administrative costs must be reduced by 12%. TI offers public the information on the purchase of vehicles in recent years by various state agencies.
"Since 2013, various state agencies have purchased vehicles with an overall value of around 147 million GEL. The value of procurements made in 2013 exceeded the procurements of 2014 by approximately 9 million GEL, while in the first two months of 2015 it equaled around 5.2 million GEL...", the organization's web page says.
