Tbilisi. Transparency International – Georgia continues probing into business interests of members of local self-government representative authorities. On March 12 the organization has released a new blog: "Participation of Batumi City Council Members in Commercial Activities".
Back in 2014 the organization has released the results of research into business activities of the self-governing Batumi City Council's deputies of previous calling and their family members. This time the organization releases "information on individuals elected to the Batumi City Council through majoritarian and proportional procedures as a result of victory in the 2014 local self-governmetn elections".
