Young Constitutionalists Comment on the President's Speech in Parliament
Tbilisi. The Georgian Young Constitutionalists' Association has commented on failure of the Government members to attend the President's annual speech. The Association believes that pursuant to the current text of the Constitution of Georgia, the Government of Georgia is not anyhow legally obligated to attend the President's annual parliamentary speech.
Yet, the Association finds that "the attendance of the Government members at the President's speech in the Parliament has a symbolic meaning and this fact would have publically shown respect to the President of Georgia as an institute". For the full text...
