Shida Kartli. As part of the project "Unknown Soviet Past", sixth lecture was delivered on May 9 in the Gori State Learning University. Doctor of Philosophy Lasha Bakradze has lectured on "Stalin's cult". Participants have expressed particular interest in the ongoing rally on May 9 in the Gori center with Stalin's pictures and Soviet symbols. In parallel to getting familiar with theoretic aspects of Stalin's cult, youngsters have witnessed the cult in action and the impact of the Soviet propaganda on current Georgia. Accordingly, the lecture and a post-lecture discussion proved to be particularly emotional. The project is implemented with support of the South Caucasus Regional Bureau of the Heinrich Boll Foundation.
