IDFI: Information on the August 2008 Russia-Georgia War
Tbilisi. In connection with the 7th anniversary of the August 2008 Russia-Georgia war, the Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has released data on killed and wounded servicemen and civilians, as well as assistance rendered to their families by the state.
The Institute has provided these data based on documents provided by various Georgian public institutions (the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Justice), and official information available proactively. Read more...
