Tbilisi. Public Defender has updated the diplomatic missions of the positive trends and challenges in the field of human rights at the meeting held within the framework of the ambassadorial on 3 September 2015. The Public Defender focused on the situation and ongoing reforms in the penitentiary system, facts of improper treatment by law enforcers and investigation of the facts, legislative amendments and the efforts of the Public Defender’s Office for the eradication of all forms of discrimination.
