Adjara. Batumi Gender Media Center has registered an initiative at the municipalities of Batumi and Kobuleti. With this initiative, submitted to two municipalities of Adjara, the Gender Media Center proposes to name several streets of Batumi and Kobuleti with the names of women, who have spent a lot of efforts for the well-being and promotion of the cities and the region. The meeting has been attended by and in the discussions have participated the deputies of both the Batumi Supreme Council and the municipalities of Batumi and Kobuleti, the representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations and the members of Women Club.
