Tbilisi. On September 17, UN Women met with the Civil Society Advisory Group. The representative of UN Women made an opening speech and talked to the representatives of the Civil Society Advisory Group about the global meeting of leaders. The global meeting of leaders will take place on September 27 at the head office of the UN and will focus on the issues related to gender equality and empowerment of women. Besides, the UN Women advisor in gender issues presented to the participants the concept of the group of the UN agencies regarding further development of institutional mechanisms on gender equality issues on a central government level in Georgia.
