Tbilisi. The Prime Minister gave the speech on gender equality and women empowerment issues at the world leaders meeting. In his speech Irakli Garibashvili stated that the Government of Georgia would work out the National Strategy on Gender Equality.
''The Head of the Government stressed that Georgia would further continue renewal, refreshment and elaboration of subsequent phases of the national action plans of the resolution connected to gender equality, combating domestic violence, and women, peace and security; while the long-term strategic vision of the Government on mentioned issues would be reflected in the National Strategy on Gender Equality'' – is noted in the statement.
