Kakheti. With the support from Center for Civic Activities (CCA), the Women’s Community Organization has been established in the Pankisi Gorge. Leila Achishvli was elected as the leader of the organization by the board members.

''The goals of the Women’s Community Organization are women’s education, empowerment, and their involvement in social, political, cultural, and economic life, supporting women’s initiatives in the Pankisi Gorge, protecting religious and national minorities rights, strengthening democratic values, and cooperation with other organizations that are interested in women’s issues'', is noted in the statement.
