Initiative Group of Monitoring over Self-Government Activities
Samegrelo.Representatives of
various Zugdidi-based NGOs have established on December 24 the initiative group
of monitoring over self-government. According to the group members, they aim to
ensure the publicity and transparency of election and appointment of officials
in the Zugdidi Municipality. To this end, they start monitoring local
authorities from today. The group plans to achieve set objectives with the
assistance of the Civic Engagement Center.
