''The Coalition for an Independent and Transparent Judiciary expresses particular concern due to the legislative changes, adopted by the Parliament of Georgia with regard to the Constitutional Court, and considers that the action of the legislative body is directed not only against the current composition of the Constitutional Court and/or the specific judges, but also – towards paralyzing the entire Constitutional Court and diminishing its important role, which poses a threat to such fundamental values, necessary for a democratic state, ...'' – is noted in the statement of the Coalition.
