Transparency regarding the bill on land registration
Tbilisi. Transparency International – Georgia publishes a new blog ''The bill on land registration does not ensure implementation of a comprehensive land reform''.
According to the organization, ''on the one hand, the initiative of the government has to be evaluated positively, procedures for registration of a land in private ownership must be simplified, however we consider that adoption of the bill in its current form will not ensure implementation of a comprehensive land reform in the country and will not avoid disputes caused by overlapping of borders of plots of land. ...'' – is stated in the blog.
