Tbilisi. The Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) presented an opinion of a ''friend of the court'' regarding availability of court acts.
''EMC considers that debatable provisions restrict access to the most important information, as far as it gives an automatic advantage to the protection of personal data. Accordingly, it becomes impossible to have public discussion and exchange of views on the cases of public interest, consistency of court decisions, deficiencies in the justice system, which poses a threat to the full functioning of a democratic society'' – is stated on the web-page of the organization.
