''Georgia in the World Development Report 2016''

Tbilisi. On May 17, The World Bank published the World Development Report.
''The report pays attention to the spread of dividends gained through digital technologies and the role of these technologies in the economic development process. Based on examples of developing countries, the report presents those challenges of technological development, which are hindering digital revolution to achieve transformative potential.
In the World Bank Report 2016 Georgia has also been included in the context of economic growth of developing countries. In particular, the report covers evaluation of employment, digital inclusion, e-governance, electronic system of tax payments and state procurement in the World Bank member states and in Georgia among them'' – is stated on the web-page of the organization.
