Civil Society Institute, together with its partner civil society organizations, begins discussions related to the Declaration of basic principles of Civil Society Organizations in regions. 

Following to the current trends in a development sector, it is important to restart broad discussions on the issue of self-regulation of civil society organizations and,using participatory approaches and values, to agree on basic principles of Civil Society Organizations and to implement them in practice.

Civil Society Institute and its partners are eager to resume working on the issue of self-regulation of Civil Society Organizations. Starting discussion regarding self-regulation of a public sector is impossible without broad participation and support of Civil Society Organizations of Georgia.
