Transparency International – Georgia has prepared draft amendments
Tbilisi. Transparency International – Georgia has submitted draft legislative amendments for regulation of a pro-Russian, anti-state political agitation. Changes apply to several laws, including the Law of Georgia on ''Broadcasting''. ''During the period when more than 20% of the territory of Georgia is occupied as a result of a Russian military aggression, these legislative changes will be the means that regulate broadcasting of such programs or advertisements and of a political agitation of such content, which involves threat of violation of territorial integrity and constitutional order of Georgia, independence and sovereignty of the country by the Russian Federation'' – is stated on the website of the organization in a social network.
