Tbilisi. Non-governmental organizations have appealed to the Constitutional Commission to reflect Euro-Atlantic striving of Georgia in the preamble of the Constitution of Georgia.

''We consider that mentioning the Euro-Atlantic course of Georgia in the Constitution of Georgia will be the most important declaration in terms of both forming a European type democracy within the country and determining priorities of foreign policy outside the country'' – is noted in the joint statement.
