Adjara. On June 23, Education Development and Employment Center (KEDEC), within the framework of the European Union project: ''Civil Society Development Initiative'', conducted a presentation of criteria and procedures for selection of regional hubs for organizations operating in Batumi, Adjara.
Creation of regional ''hubs'' in 10 regions of Georgia is one of the innovative components of this project, which in turn aims at strengthening civil society organizations in regions. ''Hub'' is intended to be a center for dissemination of information and facilitation of communication, as well as for trainings and other activities in a region. Institutional and training support to regional ''hubs'' is provided by the Consortium.
The project is implemented by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) in partnership with the Civil Society Institute (CSI), Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) and Education Development and Employment Center (KEDEC).
