Tbilisi. The Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics publishes a guidance document for media coverage of elections.

''Pre-election campaign and polling day are important events taking place in a country, media coverage of which may have influence not only on what decision a voter takes, but also on electoral environment in general. This is why media responsibility increases while performing coverage of election subjects to ensure the process is impartial, non-discriminatory and fair'' – is stated on the website of the Charter.
