Tbilisi. Scientific portal "Doctrina” releases a video clip regarding a tradition of selective abortions, existing in Georgia.

"According to this tradition, there must be a boy in every family. He is the one who continues the family name and is the pride of the family. Most of people around make sure this tradition is maintained. According to the latest statistical data, 46% of families in Georgia would give preference to a son, while 9% - to a daughter” – the video clip states.
