The first plenary meeting of the SDG Council of Georgia was held yesterday, on October 24.

The meeting was opened by Maia Tskitishvili, Head of Administration of the Georgian Government (AoG), and Niels Scott, UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia. The Government Administration presented the structure of the Council and the SDGs nationalization process with its targets and indicators. IDFI Deputy Executive Director Levan Avalishvili spoke about the preliminary results of the SDG 16 related pilot project implemented by IDFI and UNDP Georgia with the financial support of the Swedish Government / Embassy of Sweden in Tbilisi", is noted in the statement.
