AYFB calls on the government to prevent arbitrariness of a cartel on a fuel market
Tbilisi. The Association of Young Financiers and Businessmen - AYFB continues monitoring of a fuel market and presents results of a five-month study to the public. AYFB expresses its concern regarding difficult situation created on a local market, which has almost completely dissociated from global processes.
''It is the government that is responsible for not reacting to cartel agreements of oil companies, thus giving them opportunity to sell oil products for colossal prices, which fact reflects on consumer prices and services and worsens already severe social situation of the country. It is not clear why the government doesn’t pay attention to arbitrariness and cartel activities of companies'' – the website of the organization states.
