Tbilisi. Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI), with the financial support from the Open Society Institute – Budapest Foundation (OSI), presented a new website www.Open-Archives.org for evaluation of the openness of the state archives in the post-Soviet countries.

Giorgi Kldiashvili, the Executive Director of IDFI, delivered the welcoming speech. He presented an overview of the achievements and challenges that existed in Georgia with regard to the openness of the archives. Giorgi Kldiashvili spoke about technical capabilities of the website and the interesting data that has is available for any interested person.
