Tbilisi. On the basis of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Georgia, the judicial branch of the government has elaborated, for the first time, a five-year strategy and two-year action plan of the judicial system.

Through engagement of all three branches of the government and civil society, it has become possible to create a long-term reform strategy based on consensus, define future reform directions as a result of identification of existing challenges and plan respective steps to eradicate shortcomings.
