EMC and PHR respond to the death of a 16-year-old teenager on a construction site
Tbilisi. “Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center” (EMC) and “Partnership for Human Rights” (PHR) respond to one more toughest tragedy that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old teenager while working on a construction site and express their sympathies to his family.
“According to appraisals of EMC and PHR, the situation in terms of labor safety in the country is alarming, while efforts of the state to respond to the current challenge are inadequate”, - is noted in the statement.
