Tbilisi. The Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) publishes a blog post: Costs of amenities for the presidential residence.
“In terms of inappropriate disposal of budgetary funds, purchase of modern furniture, lighting facilities and curtains for GEL 720 225 without a tender carries a special risk. IDFI calls on the State Audit Office to scrutinize purpose and cost-effectiveness of disposal of financial means allocated from the reserve fund and spent on amenities for the presidential residence”, - is stated on the website of the organization.
