Vazha Tavartkildze Case
Tbilisi. With the assistance of TI Georgia’s legal team the Kutaisi court of appeal ruled in favor of Vazha Tavartkiladze, dismissing the case and rejecting the allegation that he had violated the law.
Previously, the Batumi city court had imposed a fine of 1000 Gel on him for the inscription displayed on his window, which read “Zonder Mayor of Batumi is an Enemy of the People”.
