Adjara. On October 30, NGO representatives have organized the event in Batumi to save the vegetation and recreation zones. Event participants have symbolically gathered by the building of the Batumi Technological University, where several years ago years-old trees were cut down due to the construction of this building. NGOs started collecting signatures to the petition, which aims to increase the number of vegetation and recreation zones in the city.
