Adjara. An independent group of feminists has organized a discussion on October 9 in the Batumi Civic Engagement Center on the role of women in decision-making. The documentary "Untold Stories" filmed by this group was shown at the meeting. The documentary was created with support of the Women's Fund and tells about the life and work of the 19th-Century public figures BarbareJorjadze, EkaterineGabashvili and Kato Mikeladze. The documentary aimed at informing the general public about unknown feminist heritage of the Georgian women. Representatives of the local state, CSO organizations and media have attended the meeting.
