‘’Needs of Children's Palliative Care in Georgia’’ – Results
Tbilisi. Office of the Open Society - Georgia Foundation has published the results of the study "Needs of Children's Palliative Care in Georgia". According to the study, 839 children under the age of 15 need palliative care in Georgia annually. Authors of the study have examined the number of children in need of palliative care, available services, and existing state funding and its volume. The study was carried out with support of the "Open Society - Georgia" Foundation and aimed at analyzing the situation in palliative care, which will facilitate the provision of respective palliative services for children in the future.
