Tbilisi. The National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia has released a statement on October 31, by which it welcomes the adoption by the Government of Georgia of the new text of the Organic Law on Local Self-Government as a legislative initiative. Further, according to the statement, "... we constantly urged the Government of Georgia to lead the development process of this draft Law more transparently and to make it a subject of wider consensus...".
