Young Barristers on the Proper Conditions and Service of Lifts
Tbilisi. On November10 Young Barristers have organized a press conference on the proper conditions of lifts in the multistory buildings of Tbilisi and the responsibility of service companies. They believe that "the companies responsible for the proper condition of lifts in the multistory buildings are controlled by the groups on close terms with the Tbilisi City Hall and the transparency of finances generated from the "lifts case" and the expenditure part are marred with signs of corruption...", says the information disseminated by the organization.
Young Barristers offer to the capital's self-government one of the ways for problem solution: "The population must be given an opportunity to pay the lift service fees by the MetroMan cards. Such a system will be much more convenient for the citizens and will facilitate the establishment of a transparent system."
