World Day of Prevention of Violence against Children in Telavi
Kakheti.
The
Telavi Youth Center has celebrated the World Day of Prevention of Violence
against Children, implemented by the Human Rights and Gender Sub-Group. As part
of the event, a film on the violence against children was shown, discussion was
held and the street march was organized. A lecture was delivered in the small
family type house of Akhmeta on violence against children and their rights. The
event was carried out as part of the "Advancing National Integration in
Georgia" project (ANI),
implemented by the UN Association of Georgia (UNAG) with support of the US
Agency for International Development (USAID).
