Zaza Khatiashvili on the statement made by Ivane Merabishvili. "On December
17, the civil society has heard the shocking statement of the former Interior
Minister and Prime Minister Ivane Merabishvili about inhuman pressure exercised
on him. ... time has come for the civil society to wake up and look with a
critical eye at the facts of violence carried out by the new authorities,"
says the statement.
