Tbilisi. A conference on the – "State support for CSO
development" was organized on February 12.The conference aimed to develop a framework concept
on the state support of CSO development, which will facilitate the activation
of civil society for the democratic development of Georgia, foster social
integration and crate a social capital in the country.Representatives of the civil society, international
and donor organizations and the Georgian authorities have attended the
conference.The Civil Society Institute (CSI) is the organizer of the
conference together with the "CSO Development Effectiveness"
sub-group of the Eastern Partnership Georgian National Platform, and with
financial support of the EU Delegation in Georgia and the "Policy,
Advocacy and Civil Society Development in Georgia" Program of the
East-West Management Institute.
