Every year, the President of the United States declares March as Women’s History Month. This year’s official theme for Women’s History Month is "Celebrating Women of Character, Courage, and Commitment” and the U.S. Embassy plans to do this by recognizing women who have made significant achievements in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and by encouraging a new generation of women to embrace careers in STEM.
