"The Public Defender of Georgia considers necessary to conduct the effective and timely investigation of the death of a prisoner in the Geguti N14 penitentiary Institution. The Ombudsman appeals to the Ministery of Correction and Legal Assistance of Georgia to take all possible preventive measures for protecting the personal security of the prisoners in the Geguti N 14 penitentiary Institution and to evoid those tragic incidents", says the statement.
