Charter of Journalistic Ethics released a statement. The Charter believes that
"the death of the former Prime Minister is indeed a subject of high public
interest and public should be informed about it, but it is alarming to us the
way that the news programs have aired these photo images. Especially, without
relevant expert or specialized explanations, photo images will not be
comprehendible to the viewers ...The
Charter once again calls on the colleagues to treat similar cases with more
professionalism and when distributing such materials, to take into account as
the public interest, as well as the interests of people for who the distributed
materials are particularly painful."
